Mission Statement:

The Green Meeting Industry Council Mid-Atlantic Chapter in collaboration with our shareholders is dedicated to revolutionizing the meetings and events industry through the education and integration of corporate social responsibility initiatives and sustainable practices.

Enhance your leadership skills while making a powerful contribution to the sustainability efforts of the Mid-Atlantic Regions Meeting and Hospitality Industry.Serving on a committee allows you to meet industry colleagues and make a difference in our community. With six different committees to choose from, there is something for everyone:

The Marketing and Communications Committee develops the meeting invitations, newsletter and website. It is responsible for coordinating communications with the press, including press releases, interviews, and inquiries, and supporting and overseeing communication with the chapter and the general public. The Membership Committee recommends policies, procedures, and strategies for enhancing the membership of our chapter to assure a growing and vital membership organization. Contact Jonathan Yuengling for additional information.

The Fundraising Sponsorship Committee raises funds for the organization by engaging Mid-Atlantic businesses through sponsorship and seeks support from the community. Contact Lou Marrocco additional information.

The Events Committee is responsible for the planning, organization and creation of all chapter events. Contact Dena Rose for additional information.
