The Future Leaders Forum has been developed to encourage YOU to start a successful career in the meetings and events industry. The joint initiative by IMEX, MPI and MCI has taken place globally since 2003. Gain a deeper understanding of the meetings industry and take the next step in your career:

Join us at the Future Leaders Forum, held in conjunction with the CMP Conclave at the MGM National Harbor, Maryland. Conclave is the industry’s only exclusive meeting of Certified Meeting Professionals (CMPs). The Conclave is a unique event for CMPs who wish to contribute to their profession, while advancing their own knowledge and skills, and expanding their professional network.

Participants of the IMEX-MPI-MCI Future Leaders Forum will have access to select networking events and sessions at the CMP Conclave. Registration for the IMEX-MPI-MCI Future Leaders Forum is complimentary for students.

OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES

Sustainable Event Professional Certificate Sunday, November 12th: 1pm - 5pm, Monday, November 13th: 8:30am - 2:30pm MGM National Harbor (A limited number of free registrations are available for FLF participants)
This program will enable participants to implement their own sustainable events. Topics will include understanding the business value of sustainability for the events industry; practical solutions for improving your environmental performance in areas such as food & beverage, transportation, and supply chain management; and effective methods for achieving corporate social responsibility goals. As part of the program, the participants will customize a roadmap for their own sustainable event and will receive 8 hours of continuing education credits (CEs) towards their CMP application or recertification.  Registration Fee: $395 USD. CMP Conclave Activities Wednesday, November 15th, 2017, 8:15am – 12:30pm MGM National Harbor
